  • 3/5 4:41 pm - Great shot variety and selection. I thought the pacing was good, and showing the transition of time with the different shots (the desk in various times, the person on the bed in various times, etc.) worked well. I was wholly expecting fo the shot to change when the person walked past the sad face. That would have been a cool creative shoice to have it transition to a different shot there. I was also pleasantly surprised at who your targeted audience turned out to be. I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting it to be teachers (check on your students). But I love that it was teachers.

Positives: Showing the progression of time through the same shot changing of the bedroom was a unique and creative technique. There was a variety of angles and shots. The use of the mini marquee board was a great way to display text on screen without using typical graphics.

Improvements: It was difficult to understand who the target audience was until the end of the piece when the call to action states "check on your students" implying this piece is meant for teachers. The voiceover was flat and could have conveyed more emotion.

Positives: The message through visual worked very well. The cinematography and editing were very well done.

Improvements: Improved angles of the medium and wide shots could have been improved. The voice over is very bassy and either poorly recorded or not cleaned up after.

Positives: Good story and well edited. Nice use of signage.
