Judge 1

Positives: Nice mix of sports/acitivites. It seems like the footage came from the group rather than filmed from the outside.

Improvements: Try to make the music match the videos a little better. Also, the audio dropping off at the end was a little weird.

Positives: I loved the fast pace of your video. It allowed you to feature many aspects of student life at your school while adding excitement to your video with the message that Glenbrook North is a fun place. I appreciated how much natural sound you included, band playing, students cheering, etc. Good music selection. It helped convey a fun atmosphere at the school.

Improvements: Your video could’ve benefited from more unique camera techniques. Be sure to include the creative camera angles and transitions between shots that TicTok is known for. The video ended abruptly. There was a chance to add a graphic with a message to drive home your 20-second theme or add to the fun theme, perhaps “Glenbrook North is like your best friend’s house,” to play on the music selection.

Judge 3

Positives: Good transitions that showcase the school as a whole. I liked the images on display and the time between each shot to get full picture of the school environment.

Improvements: The pans between shots does not follow the same pattern and can be hard on the eyes. Graphic at the end felt like it didn't belong. Would have preferred to see the graphic image laid over video or a fad to black. The video editing was off between natural sound from video itself and music overlaid.
