Entry Description

The Award Chase is a 3 minute film submitted to the MMEA 7-Day Challenge based on a local scavenger hunt event with a huge award attached to it... $10,000! This award caught a lot of attention of many individuals who were later split into teams. Two students are able to crack the code, and manage to find a VHS tape that leads to the award. Later, they find themselves among a man who holds the award, who wants to further lead them down a journey.

Positives: Audio of the actors were clear and the music fit the piece really well. The camera following and angles all were motivated and were clear and balanced.

Improvements: Inside the garage you can see the production lights used in the reflection of the windows. The actor in the end with the cash shouldn't be wearing a packers hoodie, I think that he would have been more of a mysterious character if he was in all black.

Positives: Well developed story and execution. This was well shot, edited, and use of sound added to the intensity.
