• 4/23 1:50 pm - The story was slightly confusing as to why she went outside. What made her go? What prompted her to say, "enough is enough with this screen, I'm out of here." I wanted a little bit more of a connection there, even if it's seeing here shake her head and put her phone down, or look over at a sibling/friend who is playing outside. It was filmed beautifully, loved the transitions you used, and the superimposed social media images.

Judge 1

Positives: The overall message of the piece was conveyed clearly and in a creative manner. The overlay of different Instagram posts that build on-screen was a great representation of the overwhelming feeling of too much social media. The transition when the door opens to the outside was a unique technique.

Improvements: The opening sequence could have benefitted from more variety in shots; it was very close-up heavy. At the start of the piece, there is no audio (or it is extremely low). The buildup in music should have started a little bit earlier.

Judge 2

Positives: The transition from indoor to outdoor was very well done. The cinematography draws the viewer into the story.

Improvements: Some sound at the beginning would have helped as I thought there was no sound on the piece. Different images could have conveyed a sense of outdoors as the images seemed to be about beautiful women and I thought it was a body image psa at first.

Improvements: Some scenes needed more lighting. Hard to see details.
