  • 3/5 4:33 pm - Nice editing choice to have the social media pic expand into that shot. Same with the last shot with the reveal of your messaging on the mirror. The story was a little hard to follow for me. I would have liked to have seen more of what was truly going on with the dancers. Why was social media impacting them negatively? Was there more to why they were upset? What is your specific call to action (don't get on social media as much? reach out to your friends?) It was all a little too subtle.

Positives: The use of picture-turns-video was a creative transition from the social media feed into the video which also supported the message. The use of music supported the piece. The lighting was even throughout as well.

Improvements: There was no clear call to action or resources at the end of the piece (ie mental health maybe?). There could have been more variety of shots or quicker shots throughout the piece or the doley shot could have been one continuous shot.

Judge 2

Positives: The transition from phone to real life was great. The build up of creepy music worked!

Improvements: The shaky camera could have been improved. There could be a sound at teh beginning as it starts silent and builds up.

Judge 3

Positives: Good idea. Like opening shot, very effective.

Improvements: Story needed to be stronger. Couldn't really tell what was going on. Writing on mirror hard to read.
