  • 3/11 2:52 pm - no nat sound, dialogue or sound effects - these audio elements would have been very helpful. Same visual effect repeated. Sound at end is compelling.
  • 2/25 1:41 pm - STORY: The narrative was unclear; is this an actual ghost haunting the girl who killed her, or is the killer just imagining her dead friend? Also, the chronology matters, and it wasn’t clear here. The relationship between the 2 friends should have been established first, then the climax would be their argument and the murder, and then the girl being haunted afterwards. CAMERA: Some shots were framed well and in focus, but a lot of your compositions and angles were repetitive. It gave the impression that you didn’t shoot enough footage to create an effective movie trailer. EDITING: The editing pace was unnecessarily fast throughout the whole thing. You could have used your pacing to create more intensity if you started off slower (showing their friendship), then built up a faster pace when they got into the argument and the main character killed the other girl, and then even more frantic and flashing to black when she’s being haunted. LIGHTING: Any time you are shooting, you need light. Interiors? Bring lighting. Exteriors? Bring lighting. ESPECIALLY for night scenes, you need light. In movies, even when the intention is to set a scene at night in darkness, you still need enough light to have a proper exposure for your camera. A lot of your shots were grainy/noisy, and it’s because you didn’t have enough light. AUDIO: Not much to say here; you just had music. The music fit the genre and mood, but you had no dialogue to convey anything about your characters, their relationship, why they were arguing, etc. This would have made a huge impact on the effectiveness of your trailer.
