  • 4/27 8:31 pm - It was filmed minimally, which worked for the topic, but I think it could have worked with a bit more, too. So, consider some other visuals you could add to this. Other angles that could portray the depth of her emotions, more close ups of her face, a pov of her looking at the pills, even making the room around her a little bit darker. All things that pull us into what/how she is feeling. I thought hearing the person on the other side of the line was a good choice as well. It was all that really needed to be said.

Positives: The message is clear for the piece with resources listed at the end for a call to action. There were a variety of camera angles and different shots to convey the message.

Improvements: The shots throughout this piece were long and the piece could have benefitted from quicker cuts. The piece lacked clear audio other than natural sound. The use of music, narration, or even sound effects could have elevated the piece. At 00:43, there was a jump cut that didn't seem necessary.

Improvements: Music would have helped. A bit of a quicker pace or more shots may have helped.
