4/25 10:15 am - Interesting shots and compelling footage, For this category, however, the fundamentals could be improved lighting, camera work, and composition. The shots are often shaky and could use more lighting to bring out highlights and shadows in the shots in darker locations. Lighting is key (pardon the pun - and it would truly enhance your shooting.) Furthermore, some shots are shaky and even soft. That said, stay curious as your aesthetic is definitely present here.
4/20 12:07 pm - PROS - Your compositional skills are on display in this piece. The framing throughout produces evocative imagery. The blue light scene with the mask stands out with its color treatment and image sharpness. CONS - The technical aspects of this video is where there are some things left to be desired. The focus in many of the shots is soft, which distracts the viewer from absorbing the story you are telling with your imagery. Some of the low-light environments are underexposed and have a lot of compression pixelation because of it. The shots at :22 and 1:07 have a very flat color profile in relation to the rest of your shots. If this was intentional, maybe grouping them together in your edit won't give the impression of incidental low contrast. You have a very strong eye and knack for good composition. Build on those skills.
4/17 4:52 pm - You had some nice, well-composed, and lit shots, especially at the beginning, but then as you went on things became less consistent and often times out of focus and underexposed with movement that was hard to track as a viewer. Next time make sure you are dialing in your camera settings with the artificial lighting you're using to make each shot tell a story if you would like to compete in a category like this.
