  • 4/25 2:48 pm - This had a really nice pace and cool footage, you definitely showed a variety of content and styles. However, there was no build-up of action or story, it felt more like a slide-show than a promotional video. Building with pace or intensity to the music OR adding live event footage would have helped build the story through to the final title slate. Keep up the good work, you're definitely on to something.
  • 3/14 9:12 am - Pros - Great cinematic shots! You really made it feel like a promo for a concert. The cuts matching the music transitions were spot-on and well done and kept me engaged. The lighting was also very well done to give off more of the aspect that this was a performing arts promotion of some sort. I knew it had to be for a variety show once you showcased the different talents on display. I also enjoyed how you opened up with the media side by incorporating the lights, soundboard, and switchboard. The work that goes behind the scenes could also be showcased in a talent show. Great work! Cons - Only thing I would say to have added was more information about the Variety show itself. As a viewer of this, I want to know when and where I have to be to either participate or come see the show.

Positives: pacing and editing held interest showed a lot of variety and students involved

Improvements: would have been nice to have the sound of each act lighting in some spots could have been better

Positives: A strong variety of shots was used for this promotion. I like the variety of acts that are shown to the viewer. The music helps to set the scene for the event.

Improvements: As an outsider, I do not know when the show is, so it makes it hard for me to be there. I know that this is a school event and the students and staff will know, but I do not. Look at attracting as many people as possible.

Positives: The shots and lighting in a vast majority of the footage were very impressive. The editing worked very in sync with the music and was cut to the beat.

Improvements: The dancer shot at 00:14 should be replaced with a new shot. It took me out of the moment. I think a title sequence at the start would help the viewer understand the story better.
