  • 4/25 3:00 pm - Overall, great fast edits, this was very entertaining. The different effects and transitions worked well. However, It was a bit fast and blurry at times, which made it hard to follow. The lack of a storyline didn’t help keep things organized. The music and the story should work together so building a story, even in a sports montage, is important. Keep up the good work!
  • 4/17 8:23 am - Pros - Great shots and editing for this! I definitely felt more hyped to go watch a volleyball game after watching this. The shots were unique and it was awesome you included some shots of the fans. Cons - For me, it seemed to be a bit too long, and the template use was a bit heavy.

Positives: liked the use of pixelation and video jumpy quality to add energy slow motion and sped up action created energy

Improvements: narrative or text could have given more insight into season highlights the fast editing and jumpy quality got old by the end of the video

Positives: I like the angles of your shots. You are able to see a lot of emotion because of your placement. Good job of putting the viewer on the court with the players. That is key to a good promotional video You have some really good shots that get lost through the editing and filters you use. Peel those back and the video is even better.

Improvements: I feel like I am seeing a lot of similar shots, which does not help the story move. There are so many distortions that they become a distraction for me, and then I have trouble following the video.

Positives: The footage of the volleyball players was expertly captured, displaying their skills in a captivating and enjoyable manner. The cinematography was impressive, showcasing the game from various angles with smooth movements and sharp focus, making it a pleasure to watch. Well done!

Improvements: With a little more refinement, you can take your work to the next level. Consider exploring diverse transition techniques that can add more depth and variation to your projects. The transitions felt repetitive at times. In addition, there is great potential for enriching your sound design with more intricate elements beyond the current implementation of a single track. You're on the right track, keep up the great work! Don't be afraid to continue exploring creative ways to enhance your production.
