This commercial demonstrates the qualities of the brand speedo.

Positives: Sound editing goes very well with the commercial. It's like this intense, hard working, feel like "let's get to work!" in a very inspiring way. This would motivate everyone who swims, or any athlete. The graphics and triangles and all that stuff... It gives it a HIGH TECH feel. "Hey, our product is so high tech. It will make you swim as absolutely fast as possible with comfort. We have used so much science to make this swim gear mathematically perfect". I think that adds a lot to your commercial. The underwater shots and the quick shots and quick movements... all that is the exact perfect tone. It moves fast and I'm always interested. I know what tone you are going for and you did it perfectly.
Improvements: Lighting - It was mostly the faint blue color with flashes of red. Both great shots but I think a bigger mix of fun vibrant colors would have helped. Also, some of the colors seem faded and weak. It's as if the saturation was turned down. If it were me, I would crank up the colors for this commercial (and most commercials). Ending - I can't tell if the video cut off or you didnt really have a definite ending. I would make that very clear. Maybe do a quick fade out where the music and visuals fade out. Maybe you do a hard cut to just the word speedo on a blank screen... Just give me something that seems a little more intentional like "the commercial is over... SPEEDO... goodbye" Story - I'm being very pedantic here... But I wanted to feel a little more connection with the swimmers. I love that your commercial says "SPEEDO is the best technology. Buy our product and you will swim the fastest" That is great. But I want to know these swimmers a little more. Are they competitive? Are they hard working? Are they taking control of their life? Are they trying to achieve excellence? Are they trying to be the best version of themselves? Maybe you can just add one or two lines or moments. Maybe at the beginning someone else says "You're going down!" then you cut to our main guy put on his goggles. So now it's saying... "ha ha ha! you can't beat me when I have my speedo gear. It's the latest in swimming technology". Or maybe there is a voice over at the beginning... "If you want to BE the best, you have to train with the best" Then start your commercial. So now it's saying "For those of you out there that are always striving for excellence in life, you better buy speedo! It's the best tech that science has created" I'm just saying all this to get you thinking from a marketing perspective.
Positives: Are you sure this isn't a infomercial for a speedo? It tells an excellent and informative story. I think overall it works very well. The graphics were impressive.
Improvements: I think it could have been a tad shorter and a little smoother on the pacing. I think not using the sounds of water and the contest hurt the narrative. If we heard swimmers jumping off the block and splashing into the pool. I would have thought this was a professional commercial. It looked great, well done!

Positives: Nice work. - This spot has a lot of great energy from the start - Love the track selection and overall vibe (sorry I know that's vague) - Awesome diversity of shots (bonus points for underwater!) I get a great sense of how athletes use the brand products from all the detail shots.
Improvements: - I'm conflicted about the editing. On the one hand, it's set to the music, which works, and the quick pacing fits the aesthetic of a performance athlete. My hang up is on the heavy use of graphic elements which leave me feeling a bit overwhelmed. - I would love to feel more humanity in this spot. What I mean by that is more focus on these athletes as characters i.e. facial expressions that demonstrate human emotion.
