- 3/24 9:31 am - Work well - Fantastic performance/performances from the talent! Really entertaining to watch. Nice job with all of the special effects and editing. Good costuming choices. Good music performances. Also pretty funny throughout. This could be an SNL short. Needs work - Some of the humor is lost on those who haven’t seen Dear Evan Hansen or play Wordle.
- 3/10 9:48 am - Okay. I want to start by saying this is fantastic. The performances and story were great. Your camera work, green screen work, lighting, and editing pace were all rock solid. BUT...this isn't really a comedy. It's not your fault or even your teacher's fault. The MMEA needs better categories, because this piece is more like a Music Video than a Comedic short film. If there was a category called Musical Short Film, this would be a winner. Please remember this: the MMEA Video Festival is not the ultimate determiner of your success. Make what YOU want to make, regardless of ANY video festivals. Keep honing your craft.
