  • 3/22 2:06 pm - Text on the screen is a bit too long without any visuals (0:18). Could have included the text alongside the police officer to make more of an impact (both visual and audio driving the message). Good shots though!
Judge 1

Positives: The use of the local police department helps support the message to the viewer. Overall, the lighting in this piece was even and the audio was clear without any distortion. The opening was creative by using the visual of the easter bunny and Santa.

Improvements: The text on screen was relevant however, it could have benefited from building on-screen or transitioning on in a more eye-catching way. The start of the police officers' part included a quick cut to b-roll which was somewhat distracting and then we cut to a long shot of the officer. This section could have been more balanced or could have benefitted from a smoother transition between the officer and b-roll.

Judge 2

Positives: Good story. Well delivered by officer. Good use of quick cut edits of thieves. Good use of graphics.

Improvements: Video segments could have had more different scenes and locations.
