- 4/27 9:53 am - This is a very cool concept for a show and the anchor was very engaging, along with the other technical aspects of the show. I commend the host for being such a good listener and moving through the questions at a solid pace without rushing them or slowing the show down. I was very impressed with the B-Roll and supplemental footage that was brought in, definitely did a good job of showing more than telling.
Really nice work with the audio throughout and the various camera switches, they occurred at the appropriate times for the most part.
My only critiques are about the b-roll, sometimes it moved too fast or wasn't on long enough to really engage the viewer in what was being discussed.
Overall, nice job, keep up the great work!
- 4/27 8:55 am - Moving image of your guest as you are introducing him on the set was a little strange. Maybe save that pic for later in the interview. Some of the pictures move too quickly in the piece. Camera focus on wide shot dips in and out a couple of times. When thanking your guest at the end, the cut-away shot of him is clearly not from that moment. Interesting conversation and guest, host is well prepared.
- 4/16 1:22 pm - As a Cubs fan, I enjoyed watching this talk show. Overall, it was well done. As a host, you were very knowledgeable about your guest and asked very detailed and important questions to allow your audience to learn as much as they could about his job. The director did a nice job with the camera selection and the audio levels were good. Some of the b-roll clips went by a little fast. You want to make sure they are on the screen long enough for your viewer to absorb what they are seeing. Nice job!

Positives: Great use of visuals to add to Michael's story.
Ben was engaged with his guest and able to improv responses, which in turn encouraged the guests to expand on his original thought. It was a very authentic conversation.
Improvements: Title card could be improved.

Positives: Host did a great job - very detailed questions were asked and it felt like a conversation. Good use of photos to help tell the story.
Improvements: How can you improve your title page and make it a bit more visually appealing? Watch the pacing when inserting the b-roll - need to allow your audience time to absorb what they are watching.

Positives: Great job! I can tell Ben properly prepared for this interview because he had a lot to add to the conversation regarding Michael's career. You didn't just stick to the script, you had a real conversation and made the interviewee comfortable which is what talk shows are all about. Wonderful use of b-roll to break away from the 1 and 2-shots and "show rather than tell."
Improvements: The Career Corner graphic could be improved, I like the simple concept but it might be a little too basic that it doesn't catch the eye.
