- 2/21 1:18 pm - Creative transition from the phone spinning screensaver to the guitarist playing in the immaculate cafeteria. I was immediately drawn into the cafeteria scene and was curious as to see what would happen next. The school setting and the use of social media as the nemesis of the video were excellent choices, and the overlay of Instagram pages effectively conveyed the students' mindless scrolling, completely oblivious to their surroundings. To create a contrast between the social media zombie students and the in-the-moment guitarist, potentially utilizing different lighting would be one idea to potentially implement. The harsh, cold light that illuminated the students could be swapped with a soft, warm light to highlight the guitarist's performance (or something like that). It would serve as a reminder that being in the moments can be more rewarding than staring at a phone screen. Also, the guitar playing could potentially awaken the students as he gets closer and distracts them from their phones. Just a couple idea, overall well done.
