- 4/26 8:55 am - This is a great compilation of all the sports at the school, I really commend the team for pulling all this footage together, that is no small feat. You have a couple of really nice cuts that match the music, particularly in the girl's basketball clip when it pulls out to the shot going in the basket. Nice work. However, one of the things that hurts this video is that every shot is a wide shot, which creates a bit of an issue because every shot starts to look the same and at two minutes and 30 seconds, that can be a very long video, where nothing really changes visually aside from the sport that is on the screen, if that makes sense. Because this is a compilation video, I realize you have to include as many sports as possible. One thing to add variety would be to have some B roll, cinematic shots of the athletic wings of your school and various sports-specific paraphernalia; the weight room, an empty track, the stands, empty, even the exterior of the school. Those are easy shots to get, and they give your piece a little bit of variety and more of a professional look. You are on the right track, keep up the great work.
- 4/21 8:26 am - Pros - Great job including multiple sports to promote here. Your editing was strong and you matched the action well with the song. Cons - The shots used were a bit inconsistent. They do a good job showcasing the sports of the year, but it was a bit jumpy between camera shots and quality. It seems most of the action shots were taken from some of your live streaming/recording which is fine, but try and get some additional shots at sporting events to include a more up-close experience for the viewers. Audience noise is great to include but in some instances, it drew me away from your video.
