- 4/26 8:50 am - This video had a lot of great shots and footage, the song works really well with the music and clearly you got some great action shots. Moving forward with promotional videos, try to get more variety of shots in terms of wide, medium, and tight. Also, try to tell a story, starting with a beginning, middle, and an end, which will keep the audience attention. As for edits, I feel like this can have some flashier transitions, as well as cuts, whereas this video relies heavily on the cross dissolves, which isn’t as impactful when moving from clip to clip with that intense, backing audio track. Overall you have a great start here. Keep up the great work.
- 4/21 8:16 am - Pros - The transitions used were great and the editing to match the song was well done. Cons - The shots chosen could have been faster, and there were some parts that weren’t too exciting to watch. Examples were the players passing back and forth a few times. Cut these up to have more jumps in the action. The shots were a bit shaky as well, for action shots, try and include a monopod, tripod, or even a gimbal system.
