The variety of shots, camera movement, lighting, and storytelling are also commendable throughout the video. The male character's look over the shoulder during the lyrics "will he notice me" was a clever touch, and the female character's use of flashbacks and reminiscing added depth to the storytelling. One particularly powerful moment was around the 58-second mark when the camera movement and the lyrics about searching came together, culminating in the image of the smiling girl in bed with the lyrics "you are on your own kid." The use of drone footage to establish locations and mood was also well-executed. The momentum builds throughout the sequence, and the visually interesting montage of clips delivers a powerful punch. Overall, the music video is very well done. Great job!

Positives: The narrative moves well. Some terrific match cuts.

Improvements: How can this piece be elevated beyond the home movie?

Positives: This is such an ambitious and well-produced video. It's really epic in proportions, from the story to the cast to the sheer number of setups you had to shoot. On the whole, it was extremely successful.

Improvements: I appreciate what you were trying to do with the lighting and the color correction, but it fell just a bit short. Some more consistency with color schemes could have differentiated the generations, since doing it with production design would have been really, really hard. I dinged you under sound because the piece felt more like a non-dialogue short film than a music video (which in my opinion, should have a little music performance of some kind, if even just a bit of lip-synching).

Positives: Very cool video!!!! I love the way the characters intertwined. Maybe they were the same person, maybe not! doesn't matter, the video asks questions and the viewer gets to make their own answers. Great casting. The mother was particularly engaging. Great song choice.

Improvements: Story got redundant at times and dragged as a result. But you were dealing with a long song... it's tough. I have very few complaints. That was great. This looks like it could have been the trailer for a short film.
