- 3/24 12:09 pm - Works well - Lots of good attempts at style and parody. Some interesting directing choices in terms of camera angles and moves. Overall well-paced.
Needs work - Somewhat inconsistent in style. Some edits don't work, like the dissolves during the whiteboard scene. Casting a student as a teacher is never a good idea. Some of the humor just feels copied and pasted without being funny.
- 3/2 12:24 pm - Camera work was pretty basic and a little too shaky. Hard to watch at some points. Comedy is a tough genre. It's hard to be funny. Good effort!
- 2/21 2:08 pm - Camera: white balance seemed to be off in a few of the scenes. A lot of your shots were at eye level with very little variety in framing.
Lighting: Some of the scenes looked like you just used the available lighting on location. You need to add more lighting to your scenes.
Sound: sound was a bit muddy at times, seemed like a lot of background noise in some of the scenes. Sounded like maybe you were using the built-in microphone on the camera. Music bed at 1:10 was overmodulated; you need to pay attention to the VU meter and make sure your mix is appropriate.
Editing: the editing pace was appropriate and moved the story along nicely.
Story: the story was clear and you articulated the plot well, but this wasn’t much of a comedy. It seemed more like a mystery/drama/action movie with a few funny parts.
