This movie trailer previews the upcoming film that shows that when tragedy struck, love falls.
Positives: The title of the film is clever, and draws you in. The voice-over script is nicely written, sentimental and meaningful. The idea behind the split-screen displaying different perspectives from the two characters is excellent.
Improvements: The audio recording and mixing felt unpolished compared to the editing - particularly when characters exclaim "How did you guys meet? – at a bench." Use of a microphone, or getting another take or "wild lines" where the onboard microphone is closer to the actors speaking would help solve this issue. It would also be beneficial to see the two lead characters interacting in some way to display their affection.
Positives: I understood the narrative easily enough and the acting was pretty decent. I liked the red couch set. It put you in a purgatory like state of being. The music conveyed your story well
Improvements: There was no room for mystery. If you say she died, there's your big plot point spoiled before they even buy a ticket. I feel like I saw the whole movie already so why go see it again?
Positives: The lighting on the shots that start at about 14 seconds is very powerful and fully supports the feeling of loneliness and despair that the main character is experiencing at the moment he found out his girlfriend had died. The choice of music is excellent and helps develop the somber feeling of a person who just lost someone they cared for very deeply.
Improvements: The voice over is very important. Either raise the voice level or lower the music so it's easier to hear the person speaking. The audio during sequence at about ten seconds is not clear. Consider having just one or two people talk at a time.
