Sound: The VO was good, the music fit for the style and it was everything was mixed well. Camera/Lighting/editing: Great use of lighting, and the shots were framed well. Including text for the type of salad or even ingredients could be helpful and more engaging.

  • 4/15 10:45 am - Good moving high angle camera shots at the beginning of the video to catch the viewer's attention. Good voice-overs. Good use of moving close-up camera shots throughout the demonstration. Very well done. Keep producing more videos.
Judge 1

Positives: Great story and wonderful look to kitchen and demo. Demo was clear and viewer felt as they could easily make these wonderful foods.

Improvements: Moving camera didn't add to this video. Too much movement going on with demo, static camera would be easier to follow. Narrator had some trouble with rushing words together and it was hard to understand a few parts.

Judge 2

Positives: Normally I do not love off-the-tripod shots, but for this video, it works so well. I like the pacing of this video as it does not drag and it keeps moving. The music helps create a strong pace.

Improvements: This seems more like an advertisement than a how-to video. There is a good beat to the music which gives you a good opportunity to make an edit. Use the beat to make the dit. It appears as though you are just off on these. This is not a make-or-break concept, but something that will bring videos to the next level.
