Judge 1
Positives: - Great job using the natural sound to introduce your story and break up your reporter track as you move along. Well done! - I thought you did a great job capturing what this means, why it's important to so many people for different reasons. The interviews helped in doing this, so nice job picking relevant soundbites.
Improvements: - This story needs more shot variety. You have too many wide shots showing a dance. Next time, after getting a wide shot, zoom in tighter on different things. For example -- a dancer's face, their feet, the mirror, their instructor, etc. This helps your story flow. - The interview shots/locations seemed weird. They didn't really match your story, which happened mostly in the practice room. Try to match your interview location with your story so that it all makes sense.

Positives: I love that you started with nats and dancing instead of straight to anchor track. I like that you covered longer sots with dance video. The length was perfect. Not too long, so I stayed interested
Improvements: Why didn't you interview the dancers at practice? The black background seems like an odd choice when you can have active practice behind them. Then the light on her face was very bright in comparison to the background. Did someone else shoot the interview with Katie? The quality wasn't great and didn't look good compared to the rest.

Improvements: A few jump cuts were seen... best to have diverse range of camera shots ( establishing shots, close ups) to avoid jump cuts lavaliere mic cord should be hiding under the interview subject's shirt
