Gear up for the 22-23 girl's gymnastics season at Maine South!

4/25 3:04 pm - Really great pace overall and the footage, particularly with the speed-ramp on some of the events, was a really nice touch. The music bed definitely helped. Moving forward, to separate yourself from the pack on a promotional video, add some titles throughout to build a narrative. Also, work in various edits and transition effects that will differentiate from the standard cuts you have. Finally, when filming, get creative with your b-roll; move closer to the subject, gets footage around the room (The bars, the chalk, the spring board etc.). You have a lot of wide shots here and getting closer would help create a more interesting story. Keep up the great work!
4/18 9:34 am - Pros - Great shots and editing including slow motion and matching the action with the song at the beginning. Enjoyed seeing your footage from the actual performance as well, not having staged shots speak volumes at times. Cons - I feel some color correcting could have helped with the darkness in some of these clips. Maybe a touch of that next time could help with a video like this. The majority of your shots were very similar to each other.
