  • 3/24 9:47 am - Works well - Clever idea that feels right in line with current trends on YouTube and TikTok, possibly parodying them. The tone was consistent throughout. Needs work - The story was lacking, and the ending was confusing. Probably too long for what it was. Pacing could be better. Possibly more fun to make than to watch.
  • 3/2 2:09 pm - The shot at 1:19 needs more light. Also gets dark around 3:45 and 4:45. Audio was well edited. Mildly amusing.
  • 2/21 2:58 pm - Camera: most of the camera work was okay, but a few of the interior shots were noisy/grainy. This is likely because of a lack of adequate lighting. It looks like in those scenes you just used the available lighting in the room. Lighting: Lighting matters. Even when you want a scene to be dark, you need lighting. Sound: the use of meme sounds instead of actual dialogue was weird, not funny. Editing: The opening sequence (almost 1 minute) took too long to set up the film. You could have conveyed the plot in half that time. Title sequences in the beginning don’t help you make a funny film; they slow it down. Comedy is about timing, so your editing choices are important. Story: this story wasn’t clear, and so it wasn’t funny. It seemed like more of an inside joke than something that would actually be funny to a wider audience.
