Positives: 1. The premise of your story was very impactful and meaningful, and if you weren't constrained by time then this could be turned into a beautiful 10-12 minute drama piece. Well done and great premise. 2. Your audio was almost perfect, so whoever was in charge of microphones made everything crisp and clear and contributed to the story greatly.

Improvements: 1. Much of the film had the camera out of focus. It's tough when your subject is moving, but make sure the action is in focus or the whole shot is ruined. 2. The ending seemed a bit rushed. It may have been due to the editing, but this emotional moment of these three becoming friends at the end didn't seem as genuine to to the rushing of the edit. Maybe it was because of the flashback scenes, so the audio could have been used over their reactions instead of dissolving back to the flashbacks themselves so you would have had more time at the end to build up this emotional connection. The actors could be more expressive too to show their characters' genuine feelings.

Positives: - This short is very human. In such a short amount of time you were able to weave 3 different storylines. It was a little confusing at the beginning since I thought we were only following the main hero but once I started piecing it together it became clear. Good use of showing instead of telling to advance the story. - The main hero is a very good actor. I wish I could see

Improvements: - Some of the shots are out of focus. Just be mindful when setting up the frame to keep it sharp. - I wanted to see more dynamic lighting. It all was pretty flat.

Positives: The audio was crisp and easy to hear. There were a variety of different locations and settings which added to the piece.

Improvements: The pauses in the dialogue and camera cuts could have been tightened up to keep the story moving. There were several points at which the autofocus focused on parts of the background in the scene, leaving the subjects slightly out of focus. There were minor plot inconsistencies with the plot setting, such as the sporting event happening outside at night.
