Positives: 1. This was an incredibly funny and daring piece that challenged the norms of narrative film 2. I liked the spiral of the characters into what I can only describe as "spoon mania"

Improvements: 1. The editing was more experimental than narrative, and the many black pauses and early cutoffs make me less inclined to think of this as a narrative rather than an experimental piece 2. There did not seem to be any specific drive or story direction other than the invention of spoons, and the ending where the female newscaster seemingly got fired and had spoons surrounding the photo left me questioning if she actually liked spoons or not. Overall I was left confused.

Positives: Right from the start I really like how the lower text is responding in real time to the action we see on the screen. Saying what everyone is thinking while also not deterring from the original plot. A news piece on a spoon. Personal favorite line. "His name is Gerald, I guess that checks out" Perfect Satire.

Improvements: - My one ding on an otherwise solid short would be audio. I know you have lavs on but I wish it was a bit more clear. I'm nitpicking but I feel like everyone who worked on this has a good sense of storytelling.

Positives: The story was unique and unpredictable. The portrayal of a newscast was realistic and well-supported by relevant graphics.

Improvements: The audio levels were inconsistent throughout and often times sounded distorted or the lav mics did not seem to be on so instead the viewer was listening to the camera mic. The plot could have been more clear. Overall, the piece could have benefited from a diverse range of camera angles to help demonstrate skillset. Quicker cuts would have also helped move the story along and hold the viewers attention.
