Positives: 1. Actors had great chemistry and performed their parts well 2. The running away scene demonstrated fundamental knowledge of shot types

Improvements: 1. The lighting was so dark at the beginning that we didn't even know all of our characters until well into the film, and so bright in the school that we lost crucial details of backgrounds and other places. Make sure you are setting camera settings correctly to avoid lighting troubles or frame rate changes as well. 2. The sound during the "dark room" scene was unintelligible and made me clueless as to what was going on more than half the time. I'm not sure if the mic was covered, if you did not have a mic, or if a denoise effect of sorts went awry, but be conscientious of your microphone and where you film to avoid excess noise or hiccups.

Positives: - I like the relationship between the characters. I can tell you are all friends in real life and it translates to screen. - Big props to the person drinking the water off the shoe. I did see the hesitation to put it back on haha.

Improvements: - When you add more lights you are going to get more shadows casted on the walls. Keep that in mind. It will take you out of the world. - When we are in day the exposure is fine. When we are in night the exposure is too low. I can't make out anyone except for shadows. -when two characters interact within a group you should cut into a more intimate shot of the two interacting. I couldn't see one person talking in the background. They were blocked by another actor.

Positives: The plot was creative and interesting for viewers. The lighting within the school hallways and the classroom were bright and even throughout the scenes. The characters portrayed in the piece were convincing and worked well with each other.

Improvements: The overall audio within this piece needed attention. The dialog was difficult to hear clearly at multiple points throughout the piece and there was no use of secondary audio such as music or sound effects. The opening scene in the dark room needed stronger use of lighting elements to convey the scene such as maybe brightening the faces of the individuals by using the computer screen as a light source. The camera angles were limited throughout the piece and having more variety could have helped elevate the overall story.
