  • 4/26 9:38 am - Cool look at the app and what it does. I like how you used it to show what's going on at the school, so this plays well on different levels. First, it shows the functionality of the app and second, it shows specifically what can be done with it. You've got a lot of different content packed into a short amount of time, and show TikTok as the platform to showcase it too-- exactly what people would be interested with.
Judge 1

Positives: Loved the BeReal idea. A really timely and cute way to feature the whole student body. Song choice was good. It's a trending song on TikTok, which shows you are thinking about what sounds and trends would push your video up on the algorithm.

Improvements: I would have liked the photos to flow quickly at some points and slowly at some points to highlight photos that you really enjoyed. The video ended a little abruptly. It would have been nice to end on a long pause on a particularly captivating photo, like how the first photo we got to see for a little longer.

Positives: I enjoyed the quick shots between each picture. The title is catchy as it uses another social media app "BeReal".

Improvements: I would have used a more school appropriate song. It didn't seem to fit the "vibe" of what you were trying to convey. You can see student's personal "BeReal" accounts that anyone can find online and access. That seems to be a safety privacy issue, especially if users are under the age of 18. I recommend removing that information to protect their identity.
